The Department of Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS) at KIMS is committed to providing exceptional patient care that meets international standards and protocols. Embracing a “patient first” philosophy, our faculty ensures that patients receive the most advanced and highest quality CTVS care with ease of access. Our team of doctors is available around the clock, offering expert care and support. Since its inception in 2014, the CTVS Department has successfully performed over 1,500 surgeries, including many complex and high-risk cases. We are proud to have pioneered several procedures in Odisha, such as valve repair surgery, minimally invasive cardiac surgery (MICS), and the ECMO Programme.
