Department of Anaesthesiology

The Department of Anaesthesiology KIMS, PBMH, we anaesthesiologists are responsibility for the perioperative safety and wellbeing of all patients undergoing anaesthesia for surgical procedures. Our service includes comprehensive preoperative evaluations and Preanaesthetic check-ups to make the safest anaesthesia plan for each individual patient, intraoperative management of patients judiciously, postoperative care and follow up within first 24 hours and beyond as required. Established since 2004, this department has completed more than two decades and is consistent in providing the state of art essential clinical anaesthesia services with evolving interest in academics and research through postgraduate teaching programme. Our department provides round the clock anaesthesia services for incoming elective and emergency surgical patients and caters to large number of patients annually.

Services

Preoperative Care: Detailed preoperative evaluations and pre-anesthetic assessments to ensure patient readiness and safety.
Intraoperative Management: Expert management of anesthesia during all types of surgeries to ensure optimal outcomes.
Postoperative Follow-up: Continuous care and monitoring for the first 24 hours post-surgery, with additional follow-ups as required.
