KIMS Cancer Centre’s Nuclear Medicine Department offers advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services using radionuclides. With PET-CT, SPECT-CT, and gamma camera technologies, the department enables precise whole-body imaging and targeted therapy for cancer and functional disorders. This enhances early detection, staging, and personalized treatment.

Diagnostic Services

PET/CT Scans:

  • 18F-FDG for cancer, cardiac, neuro disorders
  • 68Ga-PSMA for prostate cancer
  • 68Ga-DOTANOC for neuroendocrine tumors
  • 18F-FDOPA for Parkinsonism and brain tumors

SPECT/CT Imaging:

  • Cardiac, bone, thyroid, brain, renal, liver, GI scans
  • Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (MPI)
  • Thyroid and Renal Scintigraphy

Therapeutic Services

  • Radioiodine Therapy (I-131): For thyroid cancer and hyperthyroidism

  • I-131 MIBG Therapy: For neuroblastoma and NETs

  • Lutetium-177 Therapy: For prostate and neuroendocrine cancers
