Department of General Surgery

The department has highly qualified surgeons trained in advanced laparoscopic and thoracoscopic procedures. Various types of laparoscopic procedures, such as laparoscopic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, hernia repair, gastrointestinal surgeries, splenectomy, hiatus hernia repair, GI cancer surgeries, and obesity surgeries, are performed. The department is supported by an advanced laparoscopic OT and an intensive care unit. It has also advance laser surgery option available.

Services

General Surgery: Excision of cysts, lipomas, lumps, lymph node biopsies, hernia repairs, circumcision, hydrocele surgery, fistula and fissure treatments, perianal abscess surgery, sinus surgery, varicose vein surgery, skin grafting, amputations, gland surgeries, neck dissections, lymph node excisions, salivary gland surgeries, oral malignancies, and gastrointestinal surgeries.

Breast Surgery: Removal of affected parts, conservation and reconstruction surgeries, and drainage of breast abscesses.
Laparoscopic Procedures: Gastrointestinal surgeries, appendectomies, hernia repairs, bariatric surgeries, colorectal surgeries, and more.

Day-Care Services: Treatment of ingrowing toenails, hand and foot infections, abscess drainage, excision of sebaceous cysts, dermoids, ganglions, hemangiomas, and fibromas.

Advanced Facilities: Our department is equipped with state-of-the-art laparoscopic operation theatres and supported by a skilled team of ICU doctors, enhancing our ability to provide high-quality surgical care.
Minimally Invasive Surgery: Focus areas include minimally invasive surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, colorectal surgery, and both benign and malignant breast disease studies.
