Dr. Sunil Kumar Rout, Professor & Head of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Bhubaneswar, participated in the 17th World Congress of the International Cleft Lip and Palate Foundation, held in Frankfurt, Germany, from September 4–6, 2025.
The three-day congress brought together delegates and speakers from 41 nations, providing a platform for exchange of expertise and advancements in cleft lip, palate, and craniofacial surgery.
Dr. Rout attended a masterclass on “Secondary Rhinoplasty in CLP Patients” and presented a scientific paper titled “Distraction Osteogenesis in Craniofacial Skeleton,” based on his work in craniofacial surgery.
His presentation was well received by peers and experts at the event, thus an enriching professional engagement on the global stage.
