The Neurology Department at KIMS Hospital, Bhubaneswar, was established in 2009 with a single full-time neurologist. Over the years, it has evolved into one of the largest and most advanced neurology departments in Odisha, now comprising 8 full-time neurologists and 1 visiting professor. The department specialises in the diagnosis and management of all neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, migraine, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and neuromuscular conditions. With 24×7 emergency neurology services, advanced neuro-imaging, and a dedicated Neuro ICU, it remains one of the fastest-growing departments at KIMS.
