Dr. Subrat was born on 15th October 1964 and hails from Cuttack, Odisha. He completed his MBBS in 1987 and MS in General Surgery from SCB Medical College, Cuttack. He then served as a Senior Resident in General and Paediatric Surgery at various hospitals in New Delhi for three years. In 1997, he completed his MCh in Paediatric Surgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh. Since then, he has worked as a consultant in several hospitals and joined KIMS, Bhubaneswar in November 2004, prior to the medical college's recognition in 2007. He has been serving as a dedicated faculty member in General and Paediatric Surgery ever since.
