Dr. Om Prakash began his medical journey with MBBS admission in 1976 and was awarded his M.S. in 1990. He served in the General Health Services of Bihar and Jharkhand from 1988 to 2005. Transitioning into medical education, he joined MGM Medical College as Senior Resident in 2005, later serving as Associate Professor until 2020. He then headed the Department of Surgery at SBMCH, Jharkhand until his retirement in January 2024.
