The Central Laboratory at KIMS Hospital is a cornerstone of diagnostic excellence, serving the patients with a mission to deliver timely and accurate laboratory services for optimal patient care. As the first NABL-accredited laboratory of its kind in Eastern India, the Central Laboratory stands as a state-of-the-art facility, supported by highly skilled laboratory technologists and a dedicated team of teaching faculty from the Departments of Pathology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Forensic Medicine. This seamless integration of services through the Hospital Information System and Laboratory Information System ensures tha patient care is both efficient and precise. 

Capable of serving approximately 3,000 patients daily, the Central Laboratory plays a crucial role in supporting KIMS’ super specialty services, including the Renal Transplantation Program, Oncology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Cardiology, and Neurology. Accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration of Laboratories (NABL) in accordance with ISO15189:2012 standards, the laboratory is committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality and competence. The Central Laboratory extends its services to the underprivileged communities in Odisha, embodying its mission to provide accessible and equitable healthcare.
