Keep noise low — avoid loud conversations and cellphone use to support patients in rest and recovery.

No Smoking Anywhere

KIMS is a fully no‑smoking facility. Please respect this rule indoors and on the grounds.

Proper Ventilation & Windows

Please keep windows closed in AC rooms and avoid leaning out of balconies.

Know Fire Exits

Locate emergency exits and follow staff instructions during drills or alarms.

Hand Hygiene & Infection Control

  • Wash hands before and after patient contact.
  • Wear masks and gloves as directed.
  • Stay away if unwell or injured.

Follow Hospital Signage

Please respect PU corridors, staff zones, and access-restricted areas as marked.

    Additional Safety Practices

  • Do not open windows in air-conditioned rooms.
  • Children must be supervised at all times — no balcony access.
  • Return any hospital-issued gown or disposable items upon exit.
  • Report spills or hazards immediately to staff.
  • No outside medications in wards — use in‑house pharmacy only.
  • Follow staff instructions in case of a CODE RED emergency.

Smoking poses serious health risks, affects air quality, and is not allowed on hospital grounds under any circumstances.

How will I know where to go in case of emergency?

Emergency exits are clearly marked on every floor. Staff and announcements guide all safe evacuations during Code Red.

Can children stay in patient rooms?

Children under 12 are not allowed unsupervised in wards or balconies for their safety and that of the patients.

What is a Code Red?

“Code Red” indicates a fire alarm or emergency. Please follow staff instructions calmly and immediately evacuate if asked.

Where do I wash hands?

Hand‑washing stations and sanitizers are at every ward entrance. Please sanitise before and after patient contact.

Who do I contact in case of a hazard?

Inform any nurse or floor manager immediately; you can also approach the duty manager at the front desk.
