Established in 2005, the Blood Bank at KIMS has evolved into a vital service department of the hospital. Equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology, our Blood Bank utilizes advanced techniques for blood processing, screening, and storage. It features a well-equipped component laboratory and an apheresis unit.

Our Blood Bank operates 24/7, 365 days a year, staffed by highly qualified, dedicated, and proficient professionals. Besides meeting the needs of PBMH patients, we also supply blood to various hospitals and nursing homes in the city. As part of our social responsibility, we continuously encourage and motivate patients’ attendants and relatives to donate blood, fostering a culture of voluntary blood donation.
