A first aid workshop was conducted on 30th April 2026 at Vikash Nursing College, under the Vikash Group of Institutions, Bhawanipatna, with Prof. Asokan R, Head of the Department of Medical Surgical Nursing at Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, serving as the resource person.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members and students from various colleges. During the session, Prof. Asokan R delivered insightful presentations on essential first aid principles and emergency care, highlighting the critical role of timely intervention in saving lives during emergencies.
